To think we are truly coming to end of the year; to the end of the entire decade. Time is a terrifying concept. Since I have only updated my blog twice this year, I figured we were in for a final post to really welcome the year 2020! I am still gathering my thoughts and ideas on my resolutions, but perhaps I'll have a couple of those to share by the end of this shindig. If you haven't noticed by now, (you so very few humans who actually might read this blog and pay attention to what I say in it), it is December of 2019 and I have yet to move home. In my previous update I mentioned that was my plan; but it was a placeholder plan. One you say, but not one you feel . One you try to tell yourself is true until it either becomes true, or you become so sick of the lie of it, it falls away. Well, the lie eventually fell away, and I had been open to staying in Florida for another year. HEck, I was down to stay in Florida for as long as it felt right! I finally asked myself, "...

Hi there blog. I didn't know if I would want to write today, and part of me still doesn't. But it is always so therapeutic so I am forcing myself to at least write a little bit. Last week I didn't write much because I didn't have much to say. This week I have so much to say I don't know how to say it all. The thought of writing the contents of all of me is so daunting, but the urge to put the me in this moment in ink is a powerful urge. One I can't completely drown out today. I've had a rough week. Now, before you get your panties in a wad too excited; it hasn't been rough in any traumatic sense. I have not been in the hospital or had a close family member die. Everyone is healthy. Everything is sound. But, I've had a rough week. And sometimes you don't want to talk about that. So I know people in my every day life might be confused at this, or ask, "Why didn't you say anything?" But even though I wear my heart on my sleeve, an...

Disney College Program? Yes Please.

HELLO BLOG WORLD! I am so SO excited today, because I've been dreaming about this moment for months and years and months, and it finally happened. I WAS ACCEPTED INTO THE DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM!!!! *fireworks, fireworks, confetti, air horns, fireworks* I have been accepted into the Attractions role for the Fall Advantage 2018 program in Walt Disney World . This means I will be working/operating some sort of ride in one of the parks in WDW, and I will be there from May 14th to January 3rd . I can hardly contain my excitement, and can hardly believe it is actually real. I'm so scared I'm going to get some sort of email tomorrow saying, "Oh just kidding, that was a mistake." Because. How?? How in the WORLD was I chosen to go live and work in Disney World for eight months of my life?? How is that not some sort of joke? The sheer awesomeness of the statement: "I'm going to be working for Disney" seriously hits me hard every time I say it. I am goin...

Just a Blog.

Hi there. *insert waving hand emoji* Just your friendly neighborhood Jenni; man, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm just a girl who loves to write. Letters to friends and poetry (for myself) mostly, but a girl who loves to write nonetheless. WOW this sounds so cliche already: "I'm just a girl who loves to write." Gag. At least I started off strong with a Spider-man pun. Yeah, that's right. Go re-read that second line. I'm not sure what I'm hoping to accomplish by starting a blog. I am proud of myself for getting this far, however. Setting up a blog exactly the way I want is proving far more difficult than I previously thought. All I should have to do is sit down and type, right? Wrong. I need to pick a domain, pick a blog name, pick a theme, etc, etc. All those tiny little details that do, in fact, matter. P.S. I hope ya'll* like the blog's name because it took me way too long to pick out.  *Not accurate depiction of how I speak It is t...
